How are the holidays treating you, DMMs? Hopefully the Steamed Cabbage Stew from last we met is keeping you well fed. As you noticed, I did take last week off and for good reason! I was very...VERY busy! Blogging is not as glamorous as the Hollywood blockbusters would have you believe and I needed a little break. I was thinking of taking this week off as well seeing how there is ANOTHER HOLIDAY. But I didn't want to leave all five of you high and dry so how about a quick view of something I liked from the 8th Chapter of Dungeon Meshi. Think of it as a New Year's gift from me to you!
Think of it, Dungeon Meshi Maniac. You're several floors below the crust of the planet. You are gardening using the "dirt" of a Golem. What is the one thing you have to...nay..MUST have? If you said a badass straw hat then give yourself a gold star!

We never seen Senshi actually put the straw hat on. He just has it on the minute that he starts to farm. Seeing how this is a guy who does everything the proper way we have to assume the straw hat is essential to gardening, even when there is no Sun! Also, it's okay to just ram one onto your helmet. No reason to take that thing off.

I garden but don't own a straw hat! Maybe this is why my green thumb is more of a Kelly Green than a Forest Green? That should be my New Year's Resolution. Buy a straw hat. I bet that's not something you can cheap out on either. How much gold is a handmade straw hat going to cost me ><
